La vari\u00e9t\u00e9 de la faune est grande gr\u00e2ce aux courants et aux fonds de la rivi\u00e8re&nbsp;: ablette, sandre, silure, truite commune, goujon, mulet, carpe mais aussi le canard colvert, l\u2019aigrette, la poule d\u2019eau, le go\u00e9land pontique, \u2026<\/p>\n<p>Le poisson au centre de cette r\u00e9serve reste celui dont elle porte le nom&nbsp;: la Grande Alose.<br \/>\nCette esp\u00e8ce migratrice qu\u2019on trouve dans les eaux douces est aujourd\u2019hui une esp\u00e8ce menac\u00e9e en France, c\u2019est pour cela qu\u2019elle est tr\u00e8s prot\u00e9g\u00e9e dans la r\u00e9serve naturelle.<br \/>\nA Agen, ce poisson est plus qu\u2019un poisson, c\u2019est une vraie tradition qu\u2019il faut pr\u00e9server.
